7月17日 New StuffOk, so here's the video I took inside Olympic Stadium in Berlin of Lehman saving the last PK for Germany. It's pretty cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJqwkLvF5X4 If it's not working, just try it later. And I know the quality's not that great....make sure to click the box in the bottom right corner to make the video smaller. But remember, I took it on a camera. And the sounds a little off after uploading it. But it's the thought that counts. And I'm listening to the new Muse CD right now. It's just as good as that video. 7月3日 Err....my badYeah, so there was really no free computer access for me over there. No
way to update or anything like that. I'll put up some pictures sometime
so you guys can see some of the stuff, but sorry for not being able to
post anything while it happened. We lost, by the way. To Portugal in the 2nd round. They won it all. 6月27日 LeeeeavingI'm leaving soon....well, tomorrow. But that's pretty soon. Gotta play some Fifa then I'm off. Well, I just (as in....in the middle of that last sentence) got a call from the Xbox dude in charge of publicity and he said a guy from the Indianapolis star would be calling me in a few hours. So I guess there's going to be something in there, too. Cool. Well, here comes Germany. 6月24日 Too active...TOO ACTIVEI might as well post some stuff on here before I go...it should give
anybody that's ACTUALLY READING it something to look at while I'm on
the plane. I'm playing in the Center Grove Open right now. Well not RIGHT now...but this weekend. I showed up Friday morning at 7:30 am with Brett because his match was at 8. Rain happened. He didn't get on til 11:45 (when my first match was scheduled), and I didn't play my first match til 2:30 (I had a first round bye). We both lost in the second round, but I was able to go into the backdraw because of the bye. I won my backdraw match today pretty easily. I was still breaking in my racquets, and they feel pretty good now that the day's over. My singles macth ended 6-4, 6-0, getting me into the semis of the backdraw. In doubles, Brett and I faced a team with the 5 seed from the singles bracket as our first round opponent. The first set was a disaster...we lost it 6-1. But then we started getting our acts together, and we won 1-6, 6-1, 6-3. It was a hard fought victory. Our next match was against the 1 seed of the doubles bracket (one of the guys was the 2 seed from the singles bracket). We played very well, winning 6-2, 7-5. We're into the finals tomorrow, but supposedly the other team is very good....but who cares, we get a trophy. I play the semis of the consolation bracket at 8, doubles final at 9, and hopefully the final of the consolation bracket after that, but who knows. And after 3 tough matches today, I played an indoor soccer game....not high on the list of things I felt like doing, but I played pretty well. We lost 7-4, but we were all just tired...I scored a great goal and had a great assist, so it was all worth it. Anyway, I doubt anyone ever reads this. I just feel like I needed to fill up some space. I'll be on Fox 59 at 7:45 on Tuesday morning and I'm leaving for Berlin at 10:30 on Wednesday. I'm pretty excited about it. Choo choo. Up and runningOk, maybe I should have made this under less constricting circumstances, but it's here. Now I have to leave. How's that for a first entry... |
